Sabah FC will take on Perak FC in the Malaysia Cup quarter-final at Likas Stadium this Friday.
Even though some key players won’t be present, the team still needs to take advantage of playing at home.
Sabah FC Head Coach, Datuk Ong Kim Swee, has demanded the players’ commitment to secure a victory against Perak FC, following their surprise win over Kedah DA FC. It’s important for the players to remain focused and not get too comfortable playing at Likas Stadium, as they need to prepare for the return action at Perak Stadium.
Despite the absence of the four main players, Kim Swee believes the team is well-prepared and has other players who will perform an important task on Friday.
The key is for the team to play as a unit and show a high level of commitment. The players who trained with the national team need to maintain their fitness for upcoming important matches, including the AFC CUP this upcoming 21st of September against Hougang United FC.
